Rensselaer Community Toastmasters Opportunity
The Division of Human Resources is excited to announce the formation of the Rensselaer Community Chapter of Toastmasters International. This professional development opportunity is the result of a collaborative effort with the Lally School of Management and Technology. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and Leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations. Division of Human Resources Receives Fred C. Ford Award
Rensselaer’s Division of Human Resources is the 2012 recipient of the Fred C. Ford Award in recognition for “outstanding contributions and accomplishments to the profession of Human Resources” from the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). The award is presented annually to an organization that has “made the most significant contribution to the human resources’ profession during the past year in the form of an innovative idea reflecting ingenuity and understanding of human resources.” Rensselaer was recognized for the creation and implementation of the Employee Comprehensive Benefits Statement, designed to provide Rensselaer employees with a better understanding of their total benefits package.

The Division of Human Resources, in partnership with Capital District Physician’s Health Plan (CDPHP) is excited to offer a new Activity for Life program for the faculty and staff of Rensselaer.
