Introduction

Rensselaer's compensation philosophy is to pay competitively within a defined labor market in order to retain, reward and recruit a diverse and talented faculty and staff who perform at or above the successful performance level. The application of Rensselaer's compensation philosophy is to ensure reasonable and consistent pay practices that are aligned with the Rensselaer Plan.
