Appreciation and Recognition

At Rensselaer, we believe in cultivating a culture of appreciation that celebrates our employees’ achievements and contributions throughout the year.  Recognizing contributions, hard work, and achievements, fosters an environment rooted in respect and gratitude while illuminating Institutional values & priorities. It is often simple, timely gestures that have a profound impact on our attitude, productivity, and feelings of belonging.

Together, we we create a positive, supportive atmosphere where excellence is celebrated, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Appreciation and Recognition Initiatives

A Request for Proposal has been launched to select an on-line recognition and rewards platform that supports a variety of recognition types including service/milestones, performance and peer to peer, and will include a variety of rewards for employees to choose from.  The campus-wide strategy team is in the process of reviewing proposals submitted by several vendors. Vendor selection is slated for March of 2025 with implementation of the new platform to follow.

It's easy and meaningful to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of employees and peers for their work every day, as well as after the completion of projects both large and small.
