Total Rewards
Supports RPI’s commitment to providing a comprehensive approach to total rewards strategies that enhance the employee experience. Functions include salary administration and position classification, benefits administration, leave administration, retirement plan administration, and wellness programs.
Employment
Assists with issues regarding faculty and staff recruitment plans; employment application processes; sourcing, screening, and interviewing internal and external candidates; new hire processing; extensions and re-hires; independent contractor classification; and non-resident alien work authorization for faculty and staff compliance.
Employee Relations and Title IX
Promotes a productive, respectful, and inclusive campus work environment in which no community member is subjected to discrimination or harassment. Provides guidance on workplace expectations, policies, and procedures. Addresses employee complaints and concerns and facilitates conflict resolution for faculty and staff. Responds to reports of sexual misconduct and discrimination and harassment based on sex in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations and Institute policy.

Offers assistance regarding Rensselaer Computing System (RCS) accounts; employment transaction forms; and custom and routine reporting.
