From 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, all members of the campus community are welcome to come to the Russell Sage Dining Hall to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast featuring roast turkey, ham, and all of the traditional holiday trimmings....for just $12 per meal! Vegan and gluten-free options will also be available.

The Division of Human Resources is pleased to provide the FY24 Live session Learning and Development schedule. The schedule can be viewed at: https://share.percipio.com/cd/vHUa2YzO8 and contains seminars addressing communication skills, virtual leadership, advancing your career at Rensselaer, supervisory skills, coaching and more. There are two book discussions on the schedule and many opportunities to learn alongside your colleagues.
The Fiscal year 2024 (7/1/2023 – 6/30/2024) holiday schedule is now available. During Fiscal Year 2024, Rensselaer will offer ten (10) employee holidays. The Institute will be closed during the annual Holiday Winter Break from Saturday, December 23, 2023 through Monday, January 1, 2024. Staff code 4 accrued Appreciation Days as "OTH".

In this workshop, participants will receive individualized Extended DISC reports (based on the completion of the Extended DISC questionnaire) that reflect both their “natural” and “adjusted” behavioral styles and learn strategies which promote successful interactions with others.
Ms. Karen Fajardo has joined the Division of Human Resources as a Senior Human Resources Specialist and Title IX Coordinator. As an Institute-wide Title IX Coordinator, Ms. Fajardo will investigate alleged violations of Rensselaer’s Sexual Misconduct Policy. In addition, Ms. Fajardo will assist the Director of Employee Relations, Professional Development, and Title IX with alleged violations of Institute-wide Human Resources Policies, federal, state, and local labor, employment, equal employment opportunity, and non-discrimination laws and regulations.
Human Resources has put together this slideshow as an introduction for our newest faculty members and to welcome them to the Rensselaer campus.
The Pillars of Rensselaer, in collaboration with the Division of Human Resources, would like to announce the launch of a Memorial webpage honoring Faculty and Staff members who have passed away in the last two years. The Memorial webpage was prepared in lieu of an in-person ceremony for 2022.
