Rensselaer employees may enroll for benefits by logging in to Benelogic within 30 days of their date of hire. Employees may also request benefit changes within 30 days of a change-in-status or qualifying life event; in such cases, Human Resources will process any changes upon review and approval of the request and any corresponding documentation.
Employees may enroll, waive coverage, and add or remove dependents during Rensselaer’s annual Open Enrollment period; any requested changes will become effective January 1 of the following year.
Full-time employees who work 30 hours per week for 52 weeks OR 40 hours per week for six months are eligible for benefits. Eligibility is determined based on your date of hire according to the chart below:
